~ Ink to ink or paste? ~
What do you call the "liquid" you use when printing? Ink, ink, or paste? When we think of paste, we think of something with a high viscosity, such as an adhesive. If you look it up in a dictionary, it is certainly written as "a highly viscous substance with fluidity."
So what is the difference between ink and ink? Both are "INK" in English. But looking into this can be very frustrating.
First is the name of the company. When I looked up the names of manufacturers that manufacture this "liquid" for printing, there were many XX Ink Mfg. Co., Ltd. and XX Ink Mfg. Co., Ltd., but there was no XX Ink Mfg. Co., Ltd. Moreover, the English notation name of these companies is "INK". However, inkjet printers, which are widely used as PC printers, use "ink". If you write an inkjet printer in English, it is "inkjet printer" and "INK".
Then, is the manufacturer that manufactures ink for inkjet printers an "ink" manufacturer, or an "ink" manufacturer? If it is made by an ink manufacturer, it will be "Inkjet ink manufactured by ○○ Ink Co., Ltd."It's kind of weird. That's what I thought. "Yes, which one is the old fountain pen?"
When I looked it up on the Internet, I found the word "ink" on the homepage of "S Fountain Pen". Is "ink" correct? "P fountain pen" was also "ink". However, "PI fountain pen" is "ink"!!!
I investigated further there. I wonder if the name of the printing-related industry group is correct. The result is "Printing ink XX society".
So, is "ink" correct?
I investigated further. What about published papers? If you flip through the titles, you will find that they are all different, such as "For inkjets-related to inks-" and "Ink-jet inks from ○○ ink industry-". So I asked the person who made it directly. "Do you say ink? Do you say ink?"
Then the answer that came back was... "I am In x Ki."
